Yes - any excuse now a days seems to work.

Besides if Columbus had not sailed to America, then the two of you would have never met and married.

That's how it starts, first Columbus Day then Christmas and then you get bills from the Marriott. Lol. I almost forgot it was Columbus Day. I'd better call my wife and wish her one.

think there seems to more that you are leaving out. So I can't really answer if I don't know everything. Still, if I was giving advice on this it would be no you shouldn't get a divorce. I know there are things I don't remember and i know there are things my husband has forgot. Still, I wouldn't get divorced over some forgetting something. What if the shoe was on the other foot? Would you want her to divorce you over something so small that could possibly be overlooked or worked out? A good marriage is worth it and you would never know it unless you try. Marriage isn't easy for it is alot of hard work. It is alot of give and take.

Are you kidding? I'd be gone in a second. She forgot to wish you a Happy Columbus Day? That's the worst thing that could happen.

Oh.. on top of getting that divorce, I'd it her in the face with a hot iron.

Columbus was a d0uche b@g. He "discovered" America when settlers were already living here. Seems like an American tradition to take over land...

No offense, but you have to realize that we aren't all perfect, especially me because I make mistakes everyday. Forgive her and remind her when it's getting closer to Thanksgiving and the two of you can say to each other "Happy Thanksgiving Day! " I hope this helped and encouraged you.
