Is Chris Christie having second thoughts? Though the outspoken New Jersey governor has long denied White House aspirations, former New Jersey Governor Thomas Kean has fueled a new round of speculation by telling the National Review that Christie is "very seriously" thinking about a presidential run. The latest Christie chatter comes amid mounting Republican unease about the 2012 GOP field, after front-runner Rick Perry's faltering debate performances and Herman Cain's win in the recent Florida straw poll. Christie, who holds a 54-percent approval rating in his state and is popular among the GOP elite, has been garnering national recognition with a recent flurry of speeches around the country.
