Is Aaron Rodgers the Best Quarterback in the NFL?

Green Bay Packers get the best QB in the 2008 NFL Draft in Brian Brohm from Louisville. The guy was a top 5 or 10 pick if he comes out in 2007, he stayed in college and his team sucked. His defense allowed 40 points a game, and he had no running game. He still put up great stats...... Aaron Rodgers is great too, but has been brittle. One of them

Is Aaron Rodgers the Best Quarterback in the NFL?
But Aaron Rodgers? His Green Bay Packers are on fire in the beginning of 2011, and so is he. Like in every sport or most of them at least, the numbers tell a whole lot – Rodgers leads the NFL with a 120.9 QB rating. His “worst” game so far this season, ...

Kiszla: John Fox hasn't made Denver Broncos better so far
You couldn't tell it from this dog-day afternoon, when Denver was used and abused as the chew toy of Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers in a lopsided 49-23 loss to the reigning NFL champion. "That's embarrassing," Denver defensive end Elvis Dumervil ...

Question by Art: Anybody see the Superbowl?
I didn't catch the pre-game show but I was able to see Christina Aguilera sing the national anthem.

I am for the NY Giants so I only wanted the NFC to have the trophy. We always have a 5-0 record at some point.

MVP performance by Aaron Rodgers and a swarming Green Bay defense made sure of that.

Rodgers guided the Packers to their fourth Super Bowl title, throwing for 304 yards and three touchdowns in a 31-25 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.

Momentum changed hands several times between two of the NFL's most storied franchises, but the less-experienced Packers were able to hold on despite nearly blowing an 18-point first half lead.

In the end, the quarterback with no Super Bowl rings bested the one who already had two.

Trailing by six with just under two minutes remaining, and starting at his own 13-yard line, Ben Roethlisberger couldn't lead the Steelers on a final scoring drive.

His last pass of the season hit Mike Wallace in the hands and fell harmlessly to the ground, allowing the Packers to kneel out the clock for their first Super Bowl title in 14 years.

Rodgers, finally out of Brett Favre's shadow for good, completed 24 of his 39 passes without an interception, hitting Greg Jennings for two touchdowns and Jordy Nelson for one.

The Packers scored 21 of their points off three Pittsburgh turnovers -- including Nick Collins' 37-yard interception return for a touchdown in the second quarter.

Roethlisberger threw two interceptions in the first half, but recovered to complete 25-of-40 passes for 263 yards and two touchdowns.

I sure feel sorry for those Steelers fans, they fell hard everybody thought sure they would win. But it's not so bad, because next year Pittsburgh fans can watch the NY Giants take the trophy once again more:)
I just wanted to know if people caught it and how next year us Giants fans can stomp all over whoever we're against and take the trophy...

It's no secret that Michael Vick has as much fantasy flash as anyone in the NFL. But his injury risk was a hot debate among the PFW staff, who was split between Vick and Aaron Rodgers as the top fantasy QB.

Aaron Rodgers is the best quartback in the NFL right now
Green Bay's Aaron Rodgers is currently the NFL's best QB with a passer rating of 134.5. (CBS) - They may not have the pulse-pounding, nail-biting comebacks of the Lions, but the Green Bay Packers don't need them. The Pack are making their so-far ...

NFL best and worst: Rodgers continues rockin' in Green Bay
Off the schneid: Recently signed Jets OLB Aaron Maybin, a 2009 first-round bust for the Bills, recorded his first NFL sack in one of New York's few bright spots. Best start under Norv Turner: The notoriously slow-starting Chargers are 3-1 for the first ...

Question by Jeremy (Duchene is the future): 2010-2011 NFL Predictions NOW!!!!!!?
10 days until the regular season begins...just to let you know I'm not biased my fav. team is the Raiders and look where I put them...

AFC WEST
San Diego...10-6...Chargers are still contenders because of Rivers of course.
Denver...8-8...The Broncos have a talented team, but right now they are the most injured team in the league.
Oakland...7-9...Even if Campbell doesn't do well, Gradkowski is a good quarterback who can win.
Kansas City...4-12...Without Eric Berry I would have them at 2 wins.

AFC EAST
New York...12-4...Forget what skeptics are saying already, the Jets have a TEAM this year.
New England...10-6...Until Tom Brady retires, the Pats are going to get at least 10 wins every season.
Miami...7-9...The Dolphins have improved, but it's a tough division they're swimming in.
Buffalo...2-14...With the first pick of the 2011 draft, the Buffalo Bills select...

AFC NORTH
Cincinatti...10-6...Carson Palmer, Chad Johnson (I mean, Ochocinco), and Terell Owens: most dangerous passing core in the league.
Baltimore...9-7...Best defense, improved offense, tough schedule.
Pittsburgh...7-9...Ben comes back when the Steelers are in a 1-3 hole to start the season.
Cleveland...4-12...Hopefully Colt McCoy isn't the new Brady Quinn.

AFC SOUTH
Indianapolis...12-4...The Colts win 12 games every year, this is no surprise.
Houston...The Texans have a team that's ready to do something this year and compete with the Colts for the division title.
Tennessee...Chris Johnson is the best back in the AFC, but Vince Young has not proved he's worthy of leading this team.
Jacksonville...3-13...Jack Del Rio will have a tough time lighting a fire under a team with little depth.

NFC WEST
San Fransisco...11-5...Alex Smith is finally ready to take a talented team to the playoffs.
Arizona...8-8...They lost Anquan Boldin and more importantly Kurt Warner, two key players in a used-to-be offense.
St. Louis...5-11...This is assuming the Rams' coaches make a smart decision and don't start Bradford all season, to let him make the best transition.
Seattle...4-12...Rebuilding takes more than a year.

NFC EAST
Washington...11-5...Donovan McNabb is set for a fantastic season, the Redskins have a good front D and three household-name running backs.
Dallas...10-6...There are going to be high expectations this year, but Dallas will let down, failing to make the playoffs.
Philadelphia...9-7...McNabb is out, Westbrook is out, but the Eagles still look strong on offense.
New York...6-10...Eli Manning will be looking for a new team next year.

NFC NORTH
Green Bay...12-4...Remember when Aaron Rodgers was drafted and no one could figure it out because Favre was the man in Green Bay for a while? Sometimes it takes six years for a quarterback to be the most dangerous in the NFL.
Minnesota...11-5...Speaking of Brett Favre, the old man is going to have another impressive season with good receivers and the best running back in the league, and Jared Allen will win defense POY honors.
Detroit...8-8...All those draft picks are coming together to form a pretty good looking future for the Lions.
Chicago...2-14...The Bears will go 0-6 in the NFL's toughest division.

NFC SOUTH
New Orleans...12-4...Drew Brees throws the ball very quickly to a group of fast receivers all day long. That is a nightmare for defensive backs.
Atlanta...10-6...The Falcons have enough this year to make a wildcard run. Look out for Michael Turner.
Carolina...5-11...One of those "boring teams', they just lack any explosive and really talented players.
Tampa Bay...Struggling offense won't get you anywhere.

AFC PLAYOFF TEAMS
Jets, Colts, Chargers, Bengals, Texans, Patriots

NFC PLAYOFF TEAMS

Vikings over Packers

Vikings over Texans

@Kyle: super bowl teams in the past few years were surprises (seattle in '06, bears in '07, giants in '08, and cardinals in '09) Experts always pick the two best teams for the super bowl , but that definately hasn't been the case
@jville um, no research will be required for this one, jaguars are going to have a pretty rough season

Frosty1595
I dont agree with your NFC East picks. i dont think Dallas is going to finish second, even if they do, i still dont think the Redskins are going to win the NFC East title
