What would have been better is for you to list what you are looking for in a game. Are you going to be doing a lot of multi-player and are you doing the family thing? Do you want games you can enjoy on your own? Is going online and meeting people a big thing for you?
What are the age restrictions that you need?
In general. I recommend Mario Kart. Fun for everyone, single player or multi and you can go online with it and compete with people in China or hook up with your neighbor if you wanted.
For a more adult or teem male centered game, single player, lots of action, I'd go with No More Heros.
For Family fun there is Raymen Rabbits, Mario Party and quite a few others. The RockBand games are also fun for a group but probably better for a little older kids, at least around 8 or so and the instruments are expensive. Not for those who can not take care of items as the drums need to be taken care of.

Sherwood Pictures: Touching the World from Albany, Georgia
Movie notes: A no-show weekend
It was written by David Loucka, whose most recent credit was the 2002 crime drama “Borderline.” Anyway, it's always a bad sign when the trailer tries to give the plot away. That smacks of desperation. “Courageous” is a different matter entirely. ... Read more on San Antonio Express (blog)
What Is 'Courageous' And Why Is It Trending? ... the niche market of Christian folks who don't want to see Anna Farris be a slut in What's Your Number? or Seth Rogen smoke weed in 50/50. This is the trailer, if you care. If you don't, that probably means you're going to hell, you heathen. Courageous. Read more on Ology
GT: Does anyone know the name of this orchestral score? Sometimes I would hear it during sports events on TV. I recently heard it in background of the 2011 NHL Winter Classic. The score sounds heroic, victorious, or.....courageous? I haven't heard it in any movie trailers or movies. I've been looking for this score for a long time. It would be nice if anyone would tell me the name of it. Thank you!

The film is about the meaning and importance of fatherhood, and the story centers around four police officers "all in various stages of fatherhood trying to figure out what it means to be a great dad." Stephen Kendrick stated that "The film's desire is for men to leave the theater making the decision that Joshua made when he declared in Joshua 24:15, 'As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord"." Courageous is an upcoming Christian drama film produced by Sherwood Pictures and scheduled for theatrical release on September 30, 2011. It will be the fourth film by Sherwood Pictures, the creators of Flywheel, Facing the Giants, and Fireproof. Filming in Albany, Georgia concluded in June 2010. The film will be marketed by Provident Films, which also marketed their previous films. Alex Kendrick will be directing and co-writing with his brother Stephen Kendrick. Alex Kendrick will also be starring in the film, along with Ken Bevel, Kevin Downes, and former running-back Tony Stallings. About half of the cast and crew are volunteers from Sherwood Baptist Church, and the other half were brought on through invitation-only auditions. Sherwood is collaborating with members of Mount Zion Baptist Church on the production. In December 2010 the MPAA rated the film PG-13 for "some violence and drug content", but the rating was surrendered nine days later and the film is currently unrated. The title and plot of Courageous were announced on November 15, 2009 by Alex Kendrick, Michael Catt ...

: I need a opinion on the script for my video game trailer. Gamers especially, please answer this? Note: This is a script for a trailer for an action-adventure RPG game. The trailer is supposed to be unspecific and mysterious... I want your opinion on it. I can't show the video for several reasons, but it's intense. This is an emotionally wrenching game, about what it's truly like to be human. There is no title yet.
I want you to give me your opinion on the music and if this would convince you to at least try the game described.
THIS GAME IS NONPROFIT!

…Was what I did right? Where did I go wrong?
Were they really protecting us, from the evils unknown to us?
What’s out there?
*Trichromatic of prison cell and package.
As I open the package, I wonder if it’s a bomb, or my only hope.
*Prison Trichromatic views.
I only hope Jonathan is with me.
*Trichromatic of Jonathan stealing a Tazer from a guard.
Are we the fortunate, or the oppressed?
They’re monsters… They must die. This isn’t protection.
*Gameplay video of the Killer version of the game. Pretty brutal ways to kill the guards...
My goal is survival, no matter the cost. I never cared for their motives…
*Gameplay video of the neutral version. The player still kills, but is weak and more cautious.
I need to find what’s out there. If I die, at least I die a honest, courageous man.
Video of the pacifist (And the only good way to play the game) version. The player slides by guards and is generally running away from something.
Who gave me this knife? Why me?
*Video of player opening cell door.
What is my purpose?
*Video of player walking out of prison
Where am I?
*Camera views of prison

It's a Adventure platformer, I'm reluctant to say action because you can choose not to fight.
The player, Glenn, is shipped a chefs knife in a prison. The guy in the cell next to him, Jonathan, steals a tazer from the guard and tazes him.
The game documents their escape from a prison-like complex. It is run by the near-future oppressive US goverment. They claim that they are only safe in the prisons.
Both grew up in the prison, in poor conditions, wondering if there was a war outside (Rumor) or if the world is dying, ect.
The lines about the guards being monsters, survival, and finding what's outside are all about each route of play. If you kill the first enemy in a brutal fashion, you get the killer route and are capable of occasional insta-kill attacks. If you attack normally, you are a neutral player. If you dash past him, you are a pacifist. Pacifist is the best ending, with the Killer ending being suicide.
Scoopicus If i can just get the realease date...
But seriously this game sounds awesome. But I'd like more details. What kind of weapons are there, and are we talking about a Fallout (open end/sandbox) style rpg, or more like Final Fantasy?
