Mote Searches for Traces of Red Tide in Sarasota

Riley M: What site should I go to for red tide warnings?
I live in coastal southern NH and harvest and eat as much as I can of marine creatures. Unfortunately I ate several pounds of poisoned shellfish one day last summer and would like to avoid that experience in the future. I know the clamflat info site has some warnings for specific areas but I just need to know when the red tide is in.

Blame Bush
Red Tide is increasing because of global warming. Look at the data, it shows a 490% increase over each decade. No everyone will get sick when the flagellates in the red tide penetrate your skin and deposit their toxin for the eggs in your flesh!!!
