Is it safe to say that Herman Cain has no chance at winning the nomination?
Be honest. Do you really think that Herman Cain, whose career highlight is being the former CEO of "Godfather's Pizza" at one point, stands a chance? The guy have never even had a high job in politics. Never served in congress. Never served as governor. Do you honestly think he has a chance? Also, who the hell is that stupid to vote for him? Why is he even running?
I feel that the only reason he is running is because he's black. Say what you want about Obama, but by the time he was running for president, he had already served as a U.S. senator, a State Senator, had taught constitutional law at one of the greatest schools in the world, served as the President of the Harvard Law Review, and had written two best-selling and Grammy award-winning books about his life and politics. Obama had quite the resume. Herman Cain has nothing. Why is he running?
@Jenni: Having two parents who both have jobs isn't living in poverty. Having no parents with a source of income, and having to rely on welfare checks is living in poverty. Cain was no poorer growing up than Obama was, who had an absentee father, who he only saw once. Also, Cain has a masters in Computer Science. What good will that do him as president? Obama has law degree from the best school in the world. You may have heard of it. It's in Massachusetts, and it's called Harvard.

Cain is nothing more than another black attack dog just like Michael Steele was. Some Republicans think if they have a black guy criticizing Obama it will give them cover from the racism calls. Steele would not stay in his place so they booted his azz even after tuning in a lot of wins. If Cain says the wrong thing they will boot his azz just as fast.

I guess he thinks that he can change Washington. They are all naive, even Obama, in thinking that they can become president, wave a magic wand and the world will be a better place. NONE of them would be able to do all things that they promise.
The economy is bad world wide not just in the U.S. It will take a lot more time for things to turn around, no matter who is president or what political party he/she represents. All of the catch phases and folksy sayings are not going to turn the economy around or create jobs. None of the candidates ride a white horse.
Cain was also chairman of the Federal Reserve, he has taken a business that was failing and turned it around. What has Obama ever done.
Hussein never worked one moment in his ENTIRE LIFE for a for-profit company.
Never even considered serving in the military.
His total experience has been in academia(not the real world) and as a community organizer.
I'll grant you, he's a superior and brilliant demagogue, but so is Al Sharpton.

He's evidence of the amazingly odd Republican theory that the only reason Obama got elected was because he was black, rather than despite being black. It seems some of the Republicans have actually convinced themselves over the last three year that Bush wasn't hated and despised while presiding over an economic collapse, but that Obama somehow tricked "the kids" into voting for him.
Cain is just another pundit/politician, Another Republican who works the revolving door that seems to operate between the right wing media and the GOP. I'd say he is angling for the VP spot more than anything else. He knows that the biggest asset he can bring to anyone's campaign is "look I've got a black guy."
Cain would make a very good Vice President until he got some international experience.

If a dope smokin wannabe muslim can be president then Herman Cain will win and be awarded a genuine prize of respect from people of the world instead of some dime store prize that comes with a treat. Cain has lost more experience and knowledge than Ostupid will ever possess. It is safe to say the your hump boy will loose.

No. If you think his highlight is only being a CEO of a company, then you are blind and are not seeing the bigger picture. This was a man who came from poverty. His father was a chauffeur and his mother a maid. He paid is own way through college earning a Master's degree while working full time for the Navy. He made his own way up the corporate ladder including stints for Coca-Cola and Pillsbury. It's safe to say those aren't your mom-and-pop companies. He was also on the board of directors for the Federal Reserve Bank... it's also safe to say he's got plenty of business and economic experience. Something this country is severely, horrendously lacking at the moment. He's a well educated man of the people who believes in hard work, integrity, and responsibility.
We have career politicians in office right now.... how is that working out for us?

Edit: LOL Yeah, and Ted Kaczynski graduated from Harvard too. You may have heard of him, the unabomber. Going to Harvard doesn't mean as much as you like to think. What good is a law degree when he doesn't abide by it? Obama has recently broken federal law, the War Powers Act, by not getting congressional approval for his war in Libya.
Cain may have a mathematics degree and computer science degree but he also has immeasurable economic and business experience through his decades running successful companies. Some things you can not learn in books.
George Washington and Abraham Lincoln did not go to college at all.
