Koscheck. Hughes is a lot older and Koscheck is a better wrestler.

josh koscheck is probably a little better of a wrestler but you also have to look at how good of submissions that matt hughes has he has much better submissions then koscheck so koscheck is going to have to be careful of that. and on the stand up i would probably say koscheck has a little better stand up now since he has worked so hard on in for a good while now.
Koscheck is the better wrestler IMO but Hughes has better submissions its a toss up we all know Hughes striking has been his Achilles’ heel throughout his career but if i were to put money on it

Both are good wrestlers, although Josh Kosheck has wide experience in wrestling than Matt Hughes but may favor is with Matt Hughes if we speak about MMA skills and knowledge in general.
Even if we preview their record, Matt Hughes had been defeated some known fighters in the ring and octagon.

Hughes is more powerful. Koschek is younger, faster, a higher level wrestler, and has improved strikes thanks to the AKA. However, Hughes still has submissions, so Kos had better steer clear of mistakes.
If I had to bet I would go with KOS.
I think Kos will win. Matt is more powerful, but Kos is a higher level wrestler, and his training at the AKA means he has better strkies than Matt. Look what the AKA guys did to the Brazilians on Strike-force!
Matt's one real edge is submission, but Kos has to simply avoid leaving his arm out or his neck exposed.
