I remember either seeing a picture or email right after the last superbowl that matched up Pittsburgh's Steelers Fans vs. the Colts Fans and the way they celebrated their city's victory. It showed something like 250,000 out of Pittsburgh's 300,000 came out for the parade and the showing in Indianapolis was very weak in comparison, etc. Does anybody know where I can find that picture, or if it was an email? Thanks!

oh and by the way rushville1006, colts fans may have "lined" their streets, but the Steelers fans barricaded roads, were hanging out of windows on all floors of buildings downtown, oh yea, and we packed out streets so hard, the parade itself barely could make it through. a bit more intense than the colts i would have to argue.

When the parade happened in Indy, it was 0 degrees outside and the streets were still lined with fans all the way to the RCA Dome where they filled every single seat that was available. (Some seats were not available because they built a stage at one end an hung a huge banner behind it that blocked all of those seats from view of the stage and therefore they didn't let people in those seats.)
There were turning thousands of people away at the door of the RCA Dome because it was full.
I will not argue that Pittsburgh has more fans and richer history than the Indianapolis Colts. Don't forget that the Colts started play in Iny in 1984. The Steelers were winning multpile Super Bowls years before that. So naturally the Steelers will hve a much wider fan base.
But I'm sure Patriots fan is going to come in here and talk about having 10 million fans at their parade because clearly, they are the football Gods of the world. :rolleyes:

Indy had a great turnout considering the weather was below zero that day...
My inlaws live in the INDY, and I can tell you they are just as into their team as any city is.

Who cares? If the Raiders won the superbowl, the riots in Oakland would spell out doomsday. I don't think that earth could support so much carnage.... an apocolypse of great fortune.
colts fans are bandwagon hoppers who will stop caring for the colts once peyton manning retires! They better watch out for the pats and steelers!
